THE MAHER SPORTS CUP RESULTS

The Maher Sports Cup was played for yesterday in Sundays Well Tennis Club between St. Annes of Waterford and Limerick Lawn.
This cup is for an U-12 team competition and each team consists of 3 boys and 3 girls. 
The cup was first presented in 1984 long before any of yesterdays finalists were around but it was great to see that the competition is still very strong and healthy in underage tennis.

Congratulations to St.Annes on winning and well done to Limerick Lawn on making it all the way to the final.

MAHER SPORTS CUP

This is one of Munsters longest running team tournaments and is played every year in the Under 12 age category.
Last years finals in Rushbrooke produced some fabulous tennis and it is finals time again.
This years finals will be held in Sundays Well Tennis Club on Sunday the 30th of May from 10am, where Munsters best juniors will be displaying their skills.

Supporters are welcome and guaranteed a great days tennis.

We will be in Bishopstown tennis club on Wednesday next the 26th of May with Coaches Conor Twomey, Mark Cunningham, Conor O Callaghan, Emma Murphy and Cian Blake and will have rackets available from Prince, Tecnifibre, Volkl, Babolat and Yonex to test.
